Job Description

We are currently looking for a junior business controller at Randstad Finance for a consulting assignment with our client in Solna. The assignment is for six months with an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity for you with a few years of experience who wants to work in an international environment and support a Nordic operation in a central role.

As a Business Controller at our client, you will play an important role in relieving the organization and ensuring high quality in financial reporting. The business area focuses on customer service, technical service, and maintenance, where profitability analysis and effective follow-up are at the center. The role has a broad scope covering the whole of Northwestern Europe (Nordics, UK, and Benelux). You will work closely with the responsible manager at the office in Solna but will be part of a team where other colleagues are located abroad.

Your main responsibilities:

• Monthly reporting: Responsible for financial and operational KPIs within Customer Service and analyze deviations from the budget.
• Efficiency: Work on standardizing and automating reports to optimize workflows.
• Analysis: Conduct profitability and pricing analyses.
• Forecast and Business Cases: Contribute to forecasting work and the development of financial analyses and decision support.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

To be considered for the role, you need to be analytical, meticulous, and able to work independently in a changing environment.

• Post-secondary education in finance.
• At least 2 years of professional experience as a Business Controller where you have worked with similar tasks.
• Good knowledge of financial analysis and experience in handling large data sets.
• As the role operates in an international cluster, fluent English and Swedish in both speech and writing are required.
• We place great emphasis on your availability for an immediate start.
